Sensory integration is the process by which the brain receives, organizes, and uses sensory information from our senses (sight, sound, touch, taste, smell, movement, and body position).
Difficulties with sensory integration can impact daily life for many of our pupils who find everyday activities such as getting dressed, eating, moving around and learning extremely difficult
Our amazing staff have set up a circuit for pupils to enjoy today in the sunshine. This will work on vestibular (sense of movement and balance) and proprioceptive (sense of body position and movement) to help our pupils access their education and enjoy the day
